A year- old boy with complain of abdominal pain. The given case report illustrates case of anaemia investigation, case of sickle-cell anaemia. Many investigations of blood were a complete blood count, haemoglobin electrophoresis test and blood film examination. hese investigations showed, a decline in haemoglobin count, red blood cell (RBC) count and haematocrit, and levels. was in normal range. exhibited anisochromasia, their shape was abnormal, they appeared sickle-shaped and boatshaped appearance, with polychromasia. The first diagnosis was of anaemia, but the differential diagnosis also sickle-cell/thalassemia and sicklecell/haemoglobin C disease.
